First Place-Countryboy_UCF with a 74" slam. . He took home $196.00 and a Wang Anchor.

Second Place-Mako with a 53" red/trout combo. He took home $147.00 and a Finatic Print.

Third Place-MarkM with a red/trout combo of 52". He took home $98.00 and a Polar Bear Cooler.

CrookedSnook won $49 for supplying the crappiest bag of lures that just happened to allow Countryboy-UCF to win $196.00.

Fly Division-
We had a very competitive fly division for the first time all year with 10 participants. The fly division was won By Evan with three trout the largest being 19". Nice job on a tough day to use the long rod.

“Fall Fly Fishing Challenge”

The 5th annual MCFF/CCA “Fall Fly Fishing Challenge” was held in Sarasota on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009. A total of 31 fly anglers competed in 2 divisions in the catch-photo-release format tournament. The event, which promotes the sport of fly fishing and benefits MCFF”s scholarship fund and CCA’s conservation efforts, was sponsored by Orvis, CB’s Saltwater Outfitters, Economy Tackle, Discount Tackle Outlet, Cook’s Sportland, Fisherman’s Edge, New Pass Grill and Bait Shop, Tampa Angler and Simms.
